BTS reunion after hiatus would probably be only one comeback like the other boy groups before them. Individual scandals also affect the status of the group. 2PM, 2AM, Shinhwa, Highlight, Bigbang etc...tried to comeback but individual scandals halt their promos or it tank in the charts or the members found more success as solos so it's harder to plan for more group activities.

I only feel NCT doing the most experimental sounds but imagewise all comebacks feel the same.

I'm hoping SM's new boy group will accomplish this, we don't need anymore noise - just give us a traditional boy group with GP friendly songs.

GG has 10 Korean albums and like 20 Japanese albums if you're including video albums which are also included in their sales (TWICE has 8 total JP albums including compilations)

TWICE has 15 Korean albums with reissues 

They're really not that far off yet here we are 

 

Their recent releases match literally the sales climate and they are on par with popular groups and still outdo them (not to mention the fact they pretty much held the highest sales records for years) 

 

Red Velvet has 15 Korean releases as well with reissues, as well as 3 Japanese releases and is nowhere near that number, so yeah

Why couldn’t BTS just enlist one by one? I doubt one member missing will impact that much. But I feel like they were so confident on the exemption that they didn’t plan it through?
