Most soloists don’t last long unless you’re IU or taeyeon. So it’s pointless to drag Sunmi. At least she had the hits. And has 5 cfs this year alone she’s fine. Even somi with no hits can bag more cfs than the most trending groups.

IU and Jessi are not idols

 

Taeyeon is literally thee exception  . + it helps that she's still with SM/still using SNSD brand and has the companies support 100% the other girls don't have that.

IU and Jessi promote the same way as Sunmi.

 

A few years ago people would group Sunmi with these soloist and now that she's flopping suddenly there's tons of excuse not to.
