which means 3 things

 

1. The group will be literally unknown aside from 1 or 2 that people think is still there

2. The talent must be STACKED if known talented trainees were cut

3. DEBUT IS NEAR

At least from what I've seen, a lot of the ITZY hate train is ONCEs mad that ITZY crossed 1M on Gaon before Twice.

 

ONCEs are obsessed with hating Stray Kids and ITZY, just because they are so used to being the most profitable group in JYP by a landslide. They are constantly fighting those two fanbases, mostly since they couldn't compete with Blinks.

the fact that some LOSER had the time AND money to put into a distasteful Shut Down parody is 2019 behavior. You can tell Born Pink was the biggest kpop release this year 

its sooo nice to see groups topping the charts again, like, i'm kinda proud of ive, newjeans, nmixx, lesserafim and bp for doing so and with good music at that

yeah they definitely play a huge part in it

but also i feel like the hatred towards itzy has been building up for a while

I think it's a mixture of MYs & ONCEs hating them, plus their music not being universally liked. So they just feel like they are in a weak spot. K-Pop fans love ganging up on acts that are going down.

 

Nayeon said something on bubble about how onces could like Itzy, but they shouldn't stan them. I think she just meant it in the typical idol fashion of "we have a special relationship", but neither onces nor midzys take it in the best way, I guess.

 Look at Nmixx, they are talented but the whole group is a mess. They kinda make me realized why company don’t debut all talented and capable trainees.

they were universally liked by k-pop stans up until mafia, while the song did great i think it damaged them a bit tbh

 

loco did better than mafia and it was more liked but sneakers kinda ruined everything (despite the song being one their biggest hits in korea) 

 

and about the nayeon comment, i think she was joking as well

People weren’t into Itzy’s music only wannabe is acclaimed but they liked the girls and found them being great performers. That’s it. Mafia was disliked however Itzy got praised for their performance especially Lia. Loco wasn’t doing that great in Korea they got mocked for their digital charting  at least it did well internationally now people think it’s okay to hate them because they don’t like their music anymore lol people are saying they miss their old songs but I don’t think they really appreciate their discography that’s not an unpopular opinion that Itzy is criticizing for having bad music. Even tik tok i can’t scroll without people being annoying about it lol.

It started when other fourth generation female groups started to make success and ITZY wasn't the newest shiny thing in the business anymore for girlgroup stans to claim, so they jumped in the hate bandwagon in the next moment. Because that's exactly how most of them operate. Are we surprised?

Yunjin is the girl I’ve been waiting to see in K-pop for years. I thought it could be Jennie or Lisa but they are lazy, uninspired, and don’t contribute anything to the conversation besides sales and Lisa’s dancing. Yunjin has a fire in her eyes that you can tell she wants to take over the world, she’s waiting to STRIKE and she’s only going to get more beautiful and talented with time. Hopefully she takes her classical music and theater background and combines it with her current craft like the way Gaga did. We’re really in for a wild ride with this one.
