HYBE was wrong for debuting Garam and handled this badly overall but dropping her hard is the best outcome for everyone involved.

Her leaving means bullying accusations stop being the top headline for their first girl group. Less pressure and stress on the remaining members. Garam can return to being a private citizen instead pushing through with one of the most scrutinized professions on earth. There was no coming back for her reputation wise, unless HYBE could come up with evidence that completely absolved her of any wrongdoing and obviously they couldn't come up with it. Bullying accusations are like that. 

Though I wonder how things would have gone differently if all those "incriminating" photos of her in middle school never came out

Stella was set to be a double center with Yoona, Soyeon was a main vocal. So if those two stuck around, they would be even more powerful tbh. Even Lee Yeon Hee was in the initial line up, they could have had a triple center lol, but yeah the final line up was balanced

Wasn’t the “center” title created for yoona though? I’m not convinced that SM was going to debut a double center concept when no one even knew what that was.

Yeah I guess calling it center wasn't technically correct because that role was established by Yoona. Moreso double visual/face of the group I guess.

I really liked this group debut, she wasn't one of my favorites but I truly feel bad for her. Hoping this is for the best. I'm just appalled at the rampant stupidity in this community. 
 

The statement seems a little odd. Previous one was so detailed and well put together while this is just hollow and empty, but it is what is. 
 

Looking forward to their comeback and hoping is at least as good as I'm Fearless!
