People love joking about me hosting a Kana rate, but I do have something in mind involving her after this. The Other Divas rate with Mika, Miliyah, Ai Otsuka, Ami Suzuki and her. A mix of singles and album tracks, I'll choose them myself, but if someone wants a certain song to be featured badly, then let me know. If it's successful enough, we can move on to Showa.

Kana has such an interesting discography tbh, her smash hits have mostly been slow tracks but she has many incredible dance tracks if you deep dive a bit.

It's a shame her up-tempo side never found a way to properly shine in terms of commercial success, she has one of the best voices ever made in Japan.

I'd genuinely love a full dance album from her.

I'd lowkey prefer a Showa rate. It might even get a better turnout because of the city pop weebs

Well, maybe. I still need to do some work regarding Kyoko Koizumi's huge discography (within Showa era proper) and give Momoko Kikuchi another go since some people feel very strongly about that girl and her potential selection.
