WHERE. TF. IS THE PEOPLE.

Hold the Girl album is such a grower and jesus christ, it grew SO MUCH ON ME.

Def her worst project, but the bar is so high with R and J :jonnycat:Still one of my favorites of 2022, though!

So I guess she won't do a soundtrack song for JW4..

The less you feel, the more you know
A reason to leave me in a cruise control
A little white pill to take me back
I hope you understand, it's my last resort
I've done it all

Surprised there aren't more posts, love ha! Seeing her live in Munich made me a stan, she is so funny too.

I guess I do get some of the criticism for Hold The Girl though. There are a few clunky lines here and there (hey there little girl etc.) and some of it is a bit basic, but I enjoy both the sound of Sawayama and HTG.

What's y'all favorite song of hers btw? I think it used to be Alterlife, but nowadays it's probably between that, Imagining & Bad Friend.

However, I wish she would stop overusing 'slayy' all the time (and the whole slaywayama thing) + the fake Eurovision teasing was also not it ms. girl.

"Slay" and "mother".... More like "lame" and "embarrassing". She needs to stop acting so immature :toofunny3:

Top 5 songs might include any of Dynasty, Akasaka Sad, Bad Friend, Alterlife, CSS, CMITA, Frankenstein, Hurricanes...

Stanning since I heard Take Me As I Am back in 2017 :jonny4:

SAWAYAMA is my fav debut album of all time

I own both of her vinyls and while HTG is not better than SAWAYAMA I still think it s a VERY good album.

Top 5 songs: Who's Gonna Save You Now, Bad Friend, XS, Snakeskin and Frankenstein

I kind of don't blame her for dipping out of music for a bit. People have been weird as hell towards her basically since the second the Hold The Girl era started.

Like it truly felt like she dropped This Hell and then everyone flipped on her in a second and she's basically been treated as a punchline by twitter stans since then.
