I sometimes wonder if people read The Telegraph article at all. They used the word "tentatively" scheduled dates, they said they are "holding" London Stadium. That is not a booking. That is not a confirmation of anything.

 

She probably has had venues holding dates for her year after year on the off chance she's ready to tour. We can't trust **** like this until she's announcing it. I'm right yet again. 

 

It's been 9 years stop trying so hard girl. 

They also said the shows were at an advanced planning stage and that an announcement could come as soon as the following week. Holding the stadium on 2 dates plus 4 additional dates in case of overwhelming demand means negotiations were very, very advanced.

 

If it had been the case year after year we would've seen articles like this from credible sources pop out year after year. The only other time that has happened in 9 years was the week prior to her Super Bowl performance.

Personally I don't care about being right "yet again" or wrong though. It's not that serious (to me at least!)

Why would she release an album and tour at the moment anyway? I think baby #3 is almost guaranteed within the next 12 months.

It's just funny to me how many times we got our hopes up for this past decade

How many times we heard rumours of an upcoming tour? I can recall at least 5 times.

 

Until she posts that link or the album cover it's not happening no matter how believable the rumours are.

I guess she's gonna announce (maybe even release) the album before that ?

moving the tour to 2026 is good at least to build hype.

Could be because she needs more time to finish the album or/and because she'll have the Smurfs press tour + premieres around the dates she was supposed to be on tour.

 

I recall they did the same thing in 2015-16: she was supposed to go on tour in 2015, they canceled the announcement last minute, held the venues for a year and the tour happened in 2016.
