The soundtrack situation makes me nervous. I don't even want to remember her previous experiences with soundtracks lol

Idk how I feel about the BP soundtrack. I wanted the first music we heard from her to be from HER album tbh.

Yeah, I'm torn about her returning with a soundtrack single, but I doubt she'd do it unless she was 100% sure the music was right

Maybe it's a way of coming back with a song she can use at the superbowl but not waste the moment for her own music.

 

As that new music for her album will still have that 'New music treatment'

 

Anyway I cannot stop thinking about the 'waste in hype' for a song that is not on her own album.

I’m still certain R9 will drop 2023. BP tracks are just quick taste to hold us over.

 

I'm definitely a little iffy that a soundtrack single will be her return to music, after YEARS of waiting. But then again can we really complain, this means we're getting new music in less than a month! We're so close!

Kinda here for these rumors. It's a massive movie and the previous soundtrack was great, if she had to do something like this I'm glad it's for Black Panther.

 

This won't kill any hype for R9, like it's always been with Rih the music just needs to be good and it will smash

At the end of the day, if it's a huge success she can always include it in the album like Post Malone did with "Sunflower" (originally for the Into the Spiderverse movie").
