But what can we do? To put pressure on her to release music is not good and shouldn't be handled that way. I understand your post Don Desperado. You definitely missunderstood something here. I'm not defending capitalism anywhere. I said what I said not in the way you understand it. Rihanna is a billionaire the truth is she don't need to work anymore if she wants to. She can end her career right away and living a great life. It's not capitalism, it's what she earned. She can take a step back, give all her rights of her businesses to another one. And could say "Nheviii I'm done with the sh#t I'm doin'..."

 

But this is Rihanna we talk about. She's not the kind of person who do such things like that. She wants to explore fields that are not always music related or not directly related. So if she do many things the same time it's not good. Like she said "One thing at a time". And I love Rihannas experimental side in music. Look what she did, if she's taking her time and if some of her navy gives her time: ANTI was released, a great album and in my eyes her best one. She can do it she's artistic and I want her to have fun, not to put something together that doesn't make any sense. I want a cohesive album from her. An album you can enjoy everytime and to have fun listening to all the tracks of it. She's got an ear for a hit. So we need to let her doing it. I won't put a limit on something that needs to grow. I believe in her and she's worth that wait...

 

She is not the Rihanna anymore who will release albums year by year and that's fine. She is a mother of two, a singer, a humanitarian, a model, a business woman and so much more. And she also wants to live her private life, where she can be with her family her friends. And there's nothing wrong with that. 

 

Sometimes I thought don't overwork yourself Rihanna, at some point it could be toxic. But if she still having fun with everything she do it's fine...

Are we really gonna act like she didn't use her music career to launch her mogul career and then ditched the former. Not to mention the years of lies and such. No one is asking anything from her but honesty at this point. Just set a goal and stick to it.

We all know that Rihanna is more than just a singer. Back in the day and to this day. Fashion and other things were always on her mind like music.

And about her lies? Plans can change everytime... That doesn't make her a liar!

She doesn't ditched anything and her career expanded into much more than only music. Evan Rogers said not long ago, she's working on new music. Let her taking her time with that.

She's such a great person, she's not one of those who gave birth and is immediately coming back to the stage to perform new music. She's a very wise person!

I think it is the lying and teasing about new music that has been going on for literal years from her (since 2018). If she says she has no intentions of releasing new music, we would have to live with it and move on, but she has not. The SB and LMU really pointed to a musical comeback and that is all we got.

 

It is hard to support and stan someone who you became a fan of because of their MUSIC without any new material in 8 years. I have supported her brands, I have Savage and FB products. 

Its def the constant teasing leading to no where. If she teased and continued a collab run like she did in 2017 I wouldn’t be upset. 

 

I think everything was planned to be released this year but Rihanna got pregnant again. 

 

But okay next time she must stop the teasing maybe saying words like "I'm working on new music for an cohesive album, but I don't know when it will be released". Then go off loose no words about it ignore interview questions. Post nothing from the production on Instagram and co. And boom the album rollout begins after a long time of silence...

 

That would be the better option. Then she can have time to be experimental with sounds.

 

But sometimes things doesn't go as planned and I'm not angry at her for that. That told us about the album. Art has many paths to go through to become a product. Transfer her vision on a board talk about it and then it begins: 2 steps forward then 1 step back then 2 steps forward. Back and forth. So long till she have the song she wanted and what her fans wants.  Writing lyrics and rewrote lyrics, changing on the instruments find another beat and such things like all of that. It is what Lady GaGa said at her Artpop times. Music is like painting...

She used her star power and popularity as a whole, and basically every pop girl have launched brands anyway... if anything she’s like the only one who’s really differentiated her brands from her music

this is gonna be Rihanna’s first era in 7-8 years, she likely doesn’t want it to be halted by a pregnancy…. especially if there’s a tour. Excuse her for not wanting to stress herself with an album release during pregnancy, just because a select few others have done it. It’s very strange to be judgemental about this.

 

Sidenote, Bey was like 2 weeks into pregnancy when she dropped the lead single to 4, she very likely didn’t know she was preggo when she launched the era and scheduled the album for release.

as if he wasn’t following her into the studio when she made Lift Me Up & Born Again and as if she didn’t make the Super Bowl her top priority during the first 3 months of her pregnancy, with a newborn at home.

I mean Rihanna has so much to taking care of. One thing is gone not to be the CEO of her own brand Savage X Fenty anymore. 

 

She knows that an album needs to come and I still think she will release it when she's ready when she feels "now is the time". And we must remind us that this is also her first album, when she became mother of two. 

 

She signed a contract to perform at the Super-Bowl Half-Time Show and she doesn't really wanted to drop out of it. Paris Goebbel changed some segments of her performance due to the choreography when everyone knew about her pregnancy shortly after before the show.

 

Rihanna also said, that her second pregnancy was different from her first one. She said she has tons of nausea... Lift Me Up and Born Again were released and then her pregnancy test was positive. Every plan was changed after that and that's okay.

 

Yeah she clearly didn't want that the album and the era to be halted like @istan4badgalriri said. 

 

We all need to wait for her to drop R9. I'm committed to this, I know making music is not that simple to find the right sound that fit and suites someone.

 

We don't know if Rihanna is up to something maybe she will something about why she took so long to release new music. I don't know what's happened to her documentary from Peter Berg. We just have to wait and see.

 

This is why I'm not posting everyday here and don't read too much news or sitting here waiting for something to be happened. News will come when it comes. Because I don't want to stress myself with things like that, if some of you want to jump off the boat it's your decision, but I don't think that we are like this. Everyone wants to have answers and that's okay. Like @zzmyth said we have a life to live and this what I'm doing...
