Honestly the bad thing about it wasnt her performance skills (she also has the pregnancy "excuse") but the fact there wasnt any switch, it was the same thing for over 13 mins when for a Super Bowl performance you expect outfits, different stages, props and so on. I have no idea why they messed this up. Low budget? Idk.

I do agree and considering she looks like she's halfway past her second pregnancy, she did great. 

 

I honestly just really wanted more from the setlist. I thought a few of the transitions were either lazy or non existent. The show just didn't feel as fluid and eclectic as it could of been @Cain mentioned it a few days ago. The WHYB / Only Girl / WFL / S&M mashup missed the mark for me. Rude Boy, Wild Thoughts and RRT (surprisingly) were great. 

 

There were great parts don't get me wrong. But her catalogue had the opportunity to have the best setlist by far, and it just felt a bit flat at times. That was the part they should of nailed the hardest all things considered.

Oh absolutely. I think they could’ve incorporated more colour or something 

 

But overall the performance was very slick and felt very on brand for Rihanna

I am not gonna even bother. You seem like a full blown blind stan with rose colored glasses and earlier you were debating with me about how new music (that isn't BP related) was coming despite the insiders saying no and look at what happened now.

 

All I am gonna say is that there were multiple shots of her holding the mic down while the vocals were running in the background. She didn't even bother to lipsynch properly.

Like get a grip. What’s complaining about it going to do at this stage of life. Either enjoy what you got or move on. 
 

The show was A LOT to process on first viewing... The setlist, the pregnancy, the performance of it all... Can't even lie I was slightly disappointed, but I'm ready to re-watch it right now and I'm sure knowing that she's pregnant, being past the shock of it all, it's gonna be much more enjoyable  

 

I'm just so happy we got to see her on stage again  Doesn't seem like music or tour is coming, but oh well. Still was good to see her and hopefully she properly comes back at some point soon!

I was debating about new music? when? I haven't been around here at all during the whole weekend... WTF?

 

Anyway.... You can clearly hear when she sings, and when she doesn't. And you can also hear when there is only the backing vocals.

 

I never said it was a miracle of an spectacle. Or that she reinvented the wheel...

 

I said she did MUCH BETTER than what people are trying to point out.

I think outfit changes and/or more stage effects/fireworks would’ve improved the show but the amount of hits and classics she was able to include was definitely a huge highlight

Yes there is some negative criticism, but this site is acting like this is on Maroon 5/JT/BlackEyed Pease level bad when it’s just not the case on other social media
