i actually enjoyed the performance and am happy to hear she’s pregnant again!

 

 

am i coming to terms anti was her retirement record? slowly, but surely!

 

I thought the only thing lacking was more usage of the field....there should have been more dancers on the floor taking up the majority of the field....I loved the setlist and actual stage and considering how pregnant she was....I thought she did much more choreo than needed. Congrats to our girl for baby #2 and I guess the tour is out the picture. 

So that many reporters were wrong about a tour? I’m so lost to what is going on lol this is why we can’t get our hopes up. 

Ok now that I had a few mimosas and watching for the 2nd time. I love it 

 

 I don’t mind the setlist as much 

The stage and camera work was top notch. Great setlist. Definitely was expecting more and a tour

Yea this is my biggest disappointment cuz that was a blatant lie  and the Caribbean elements would’ve really brought more life to the show and truly made her performance unique. Would’ve been perfect for Black History Month. I’m hurt honestly

Yeah I’m only upset about the lack of Carribean vibes. I wanted her to take us to Barbados fr and do some sick tweaks to the past hits. 

I really liked the performance! She looked so fierce and her voice sounded great! Wished she sung more of her hits (Man down, You da one, LOTB, Needed me, etc) but we move!

 

Haters can choke and seethe and hope we get new music soon!

I loved it as well. All the polarizing opinions just reminds me of literally her entire career lol. In 5 years people will remember this fondly.

 

I loved the verticality of the stage, that they didn't use the whole field but actually made it easy for people high up to see. Also that final shot of her singing Diamonds was absolutely phenomenal.

When she releases the albums she will debut with small numbers. Everyone will say she is a flop and that she should be bigger by now but she will end up selling more than their favs like she always does 

Feel like I watched a completely different performance from everybody else, absolutely loved it and was everything I expected Rihanna to do, she understood the assignment and did just that. Loved the setlist, did not want most of the songs people are crying about lol, and the set design was absoluutely stunning and one of the best in Halftime history, so her team did not lie about that.

But yeah this is the history of her career, people just love to hate her at all points in her career and then look back fondly/with nostalgia. Annoying, but what can you do.

Also, when she was singing it sounded great. The parts she dropped the mic weren't exactly pivotal parts of the song so it didnt bother me

Exactly. I'm glad there's enough fans in here who remember this and feel this way. She's been a media darling for so long with Fenty some fans got too used to it haha

Agreed! I feel like the concept of the vertical stage was so sick and different from what other artists have done. 

Performance is finally up on nfl channel! 

 

Just rewatched the show on YouTube....and it's even better on 2nd viewing!

Just rewatched it and i gotta say... i liked it way more, it's really good and people are being ******* annoying lol. She did all this while being pregnant as well, ffs. Gotta love the inclusion of Phresh Out The Runway, Cockiness, KIB, Birthday Cake and Pose.
