This ain’t it. Both of the things you mentioned were filmed nearly 2 months ago, less than 5 months after giving birth, and what dancing or moving did you expect in LMU video…

Some of the Navy is constantly doubting her and talking about her in a condescending way, acting like they know better than she does. It really shouldn’t be this difficult to sit back and trust that she knows what she’s doing with this. I honestly haven’t  seen another fanbase have so little faith in the artist they go up for

I'm sorry... but you know I'm the biggest stan. But right now.. she is not demonstrating anything at all... the only pics we get from her are her either having dinner or partying (which is perfectly fine... of course...) but have nothing to do with her music or the superbowl.

 

I know she just gave birth... and I know she will give us THE SHOW.... but right now... she is not pushing it enough IMO.... it's not that hard to post a photo of any of your album's aniversaries (she's had 4 aniversaries this last month) or even show a little dance on insta or whatever, just so we know she just.... cares.

 

Talking about great news... This is huge... She moved over half a billion streams in November alone... and from those... less than 100M are from new songs...

I don't know, just because the only photos we're getting of her are her out dining and partying doesn't necessarily mean that she isn't rehearsing/recording/planning. I agree that the first stage after years being the SB should make her do rehearsals more than she usually does, and we can only operate on the hope that she's rehearsing but like what else can we do? Her modus operandi for the last few years with her other projects has been secrecy until the project launches, maybe that's the approach she's still taking? Because I'd like to think that she (+her team)knows that the SB stage with a whole documentary following it would require a certain level of work and effort.

I get where you’re coming from but we didn’t become this way overnight. This is the outcome of years of torture and wrong decisions and lack of communication. And I’m sorry but Navy does know better than her more often than not. Just yesterday Fenty Skin hired a girl who hated on Rih for getting pregnant by Rocky and also shaded the brand itself earlier this year. And then they fired her the same day after Navy pointed out the facts as they always do. The day before the SxF court thing happened. Customers and the Navy been complaining about that VIP thing for years. Rihanna’s team consists of longtime friends who are learning the ropes as they go and are way too comfortable in their positions. It’s really not hard to do a Google search about people you’re hiring. You might say oh nobody knows or even cares about these and you’d be right but these things are little signs that there’s something wrong with the way they manage things.

 

And I don’t know how you all want us to be optimistic about everything when nothing positive happens. It’s not like she keeps saying she’s gonna release new music and talks to us about the sound/theme/inspirations around it and we don’t believe her and complain. She either doesn’t mention it or says how it’s not coming anytime soon and we believe her. I’m glad she did the BP tracks and relieved some of the fans and even I’ve grown to like them too but you can’t expect everyone to be all smilez cause she did a cute lil soundtrack.

 

Personally I stopped expecting new music, it will come out when it’s time. I just want her to solely focus on the SB. If I see her rehearsing or doing anything related to it I’ll be happy. Cause she is a new mom who hasn’t performed in 6 years and isn’t trained like JLo/Shakira. I don’t think starting around January is a good idea.

Everyone and their mothers are excited about the SB tho. It’s not like we’re ignoring it. I’m just saying it’s normal to have expectations about it. And please lets be real no fanbase on ATRL gets hyped for their faves soundtracks. Even the liddos didn’t care about Shallow until it smashed. Let’s not paint  the Navy to be the bad guys because some of us aren’t satisfied with her “musical comeback”. It’s hella normal like there’s no need to get defensive about it we were supposed to get an album 4 years ago

The cataclysm of negativity in here.

 

 

The Navy have so little faith in the artist they stan that it’s borderline embarrassing. 
 

Not even the Hive are this obnoxious towards their fave, and she rarely communicates with them at all (at least we actually see/hear from Rihanna from time to time). Beyonce’s entire current era was a Vogue interview and IG announcement. 
 

 

Anyway, I trust the process and trust that Ms. Fenty knows what she’s doing. Next month, the festivities shall begin accordingly.

I don’t think anybody’s painting the Navy to be “bad”. 

 

However, it’s extremely irritating when all you see in certain Rihanna-related threads are either…

 

1) The Navy not defending her the way they should.

 

2) The Navy participating in the shade and drags towards Rihanna. 
 

There are even a few posters in here that I’ve seen so it ALOT the past month and especially since the release of “LMU”. 
 

 

I’m not even talking about the JD saga because everyone has their warranted opinion on that, but just in general. 
 

I get that to some it may not be that deep, and everyone is entitled to feel however they want, but it’s moving beyond not being “satisfied” at this point.
