Based on this one we finally got confirmation that 100% the video she shot was the Fair video. There is no Candy Paint video in existence yet. I wonder what exactly is the hold up. Maybe they want to drop the song then slowly build the hype into eventually shooting a video? 

 

I really think Candy Paint is the opportunity to come hard with a song and video again like Motivation and wow everyone. I hope they don’t just drop an audio. 

I think a really smart move woulda been her dropping her album in 2020 with Motivation and DWAS and Love Lies. Not Touring it but just promoting it without the anxiety of an audience.

 

Then dropping her next album with Wild Side in 2022 and having a joint album tour with both albums.

Nah i’m pretty sure she’s keeping the Candy Paint video 100% a secret. Normani is very good at keeping things a secret if she wants to. And also, she knows we’re wondering about it - questioning if it’s shot or not, so she’s probably having a good laugh at us getting desperate

If Candy Paint doesn't come with a video, the song will almost definitely flop  Motivation and Wild Side's commercial performance both heavily depended on the first day reaction to the video. Without an immediate video, I think we'll see another Fair repeat, but with slightly better initial radio support.

I personally think they filmed it already. Realistically, Fair wouldn’t need as long as a shoot they did and they originally thought the song was dropping in May.

I believe it does not exist. @WheresJay has more or less said this like 2+ times now that the only thing shot to his knowledge was the Fair video. The interview was just more confirmation.

That interview was pre Met given the hair color. She could’ve filmed something since then.

@WheresJay never denied there's a video, just that it may be under wraps. I have a feeling it's going to be July 1st now. Not June 17th.

There's actually little chance that WheresJay knows about a video or not. We know he's close do DSPs but they don't get MV info as far as I know. Flare listen up, WHAT do you think it's this picture of Normani with a BEAUTIFUL look and her most recent hair done AFTER Fair's video shoot WITH a well known choreographer. There's only one place this photo could've happened. Don't let me down right now

Yeah this is what I thought as well. @WheresJayobviously feel free to correct me on what exactly your source is if I'm wrong, but if he's getting his info through DSPs, then I don't think they'd bother sending the video to the DSPs this early. I know Apple Music technically has music videos, but that's such a small part of their service that I doubt a label would send a video to them weeks in advance of release (and that's assuming the video is already edited - knowing Normani, the video will probably be fully edited 2 days before release )

Sometimes they do! Last year Tunji played a very early version of Wild Side's video for Spotify's team. II t didn't have any of the EFX yet. When I learn about a video, I'll tell you but this time they didn't send over any video info. I also don't believe the versions of the songs they sent over were final either.... My file stops abruptly at the end and her vocal doesn't seem entirely mixed in. Maybe the club version we heard will be the final... Lol

if normani drops the fair and candy paint video together or drops fair then candy paint that'd actually be pretty amazing.
