I do think something else is going on, though. Her voice has been much worse even taking the 2020s condition into consideration. She’s having to dodge any fifth octave belts. Even though the bronchitis is probably a stan excuse, it would explain this sudden rapid deterioration.

She needs to just become a studio artist. Give us all the bells and whistles and tricks in the studio with new music and stop the touring and live performances.

She probably knew her vocals werent gonna be great so she had to give a disclaimer before the show. I feel like she’s done this numerous times before. Told the crowd she was sick before a show as an excuse for what was to come.

It's so funny to me when people say she's better than all the pop girls even on her worst day  

 

Her voice sounds almost as bad as Whitney live in Australia before she died,  when fans walked out

time to ditch live settings and get into acting again

She really should go into acting though. She was amazing in Precious. Her name alone would get her into so many doors. She’ll have to humble herself though to enter that industry. Those studio execs don’t care nothing about no ‘bad lighting’ 

 

Also, she should just go ahead and get that surgery. Take two years off, and recover and learn how to sing again. 

I was there at MSG on Tuesday. She definitely sounded messy during certain parts, but you could tell she was sick - her talking voice sounded like she had the sniffles. But as she said, we were there for the "experience" - and I had the time of my life seeing her live again! She was an hour and a half late, stopped the show two songs in for a vocal break, makeup touch up, and for tea, and was giving her fingers and fists despite not hitting the notes, and it was AMAZING. It sounds like I'm dragging, but I honestly love her. She was so funny and her discography is just untouchable. Can't wait to rewatch the TV special
