There's something so peculiar about Killers Who Are Partying that don't let me dislke the sing. I like her way of thinking, lol. But yeah the sing falls flat, as does the alberm... the main problem of Madonnas music since MDN/e imo is that she might have great ideas but it rarely comes to life musically. It's like the producers she surrounds herself with don't get her. Ugh, her mind.

I think its the opposite, since then (besides rebel heart) she has no one to shape her ideas (autotune, silly lyrics etc) so we get a very raw product or something overworked

I kinda hate how Taylor and Beyonce's tour overshadowed M's but it is what it is.

Still she made much news and great success. 

And I think her show overshadowed all of them and was better amd more fun. Very  Unique. Still rocking to this day.

Yep that's also an aspect, she's clearly is to blame too. Dark Ballet is another example of what I'm saying, it has a certain quality but it takes a random route production -wise. The idea behind it is very good, the track itself not so much.

I think Fineas' work on new Billie album is immaculate, feel like they would fit M's Ray of Light tbh. Madonna also shares the same publicist with them (Bakerpr)

This. It's very evident that she used to have a creative team that helped curate and refine her ideas that went absolutely AWOL after Hard Candy (and arguably beginning with that era). There's a polish and cohesion that's relatively absent from her new work nowadays.

Yes i think everyone is afraid to say No to her nowadays so what we get are songs that sound like Demos. Hopefully now that she is back with warner she has some direction.

As of October 2, Like a Prayer did 497,339 streams.

 

Not bad but I think it's going to be now be one of her most daily streamed tracks like Material Girl and and La Isla Bonita.

 

Also, I am enjoying 4 Minutes getting some love. I'm not mad at it.
