She is RIDICULOUS.

 

I didn't realize HOW big Sticky & Sweet was.

 

The way she already grossed 300 million on the first leg alone and then the hoe decided to come back for more in 2009.

it also has the highest (adjusted and non adjusted) average show gross out of any tour in that decade. 

 

if that tour happened today, with the current inflation rates it would have probably grossed close to a billion.

Watching that show is insane. Her energy, the choreo, everything... I honestly don't think anyone delievered this type of performance to this day

Could y’all suggest some of Madonnas best or most iconic/impactful music videos and live performances? I have ventured through a lot of her discography in the past year and I have so much respect for the lyrical and production triumphs she has amassed over the course of her career — but I still haven’t seen much of what made her legendary from a visual standpoint and I am ready to start that journey too! 
 

For reference I have pretty much only seen her VMAs performance with Brit + Xtina, and maybe the ***** I’m Madonna music video. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen any of the others  

 

I’ll probably recognize visuals and stuff because duh, she gets referenced or parodied or previewed throughout entertainment, but I wanna sit down and take it all in in full. Any suggestions/help/guidance is appreciated

Might be weird to start here but I think this is my favorite 80sdonna video. 

 

 

Some of the early 80s ones to start with, too. Next are the peak era ones like Open Your Heart, Express Yourself, Vogue and Like a Prayer

 

 

 

Yeah I'd start off with the 80s to early 90s stuff to get a good baseline of her artistry 

 

And for live performances you HAVE to watch this:
