Fully off topic and not trying to comment on her body (and the pregnancy discourse is both tired and weird as HELL), but honestly I think looking at footage from JFAD, Gaga was very very skinny during filming and probably stayed that weight for a while for the character. She is clearly recovering and finding a return to equilibrium after that. She looks healthy and sounds great at the jazz shows.

I also think it shows what she went through for her role for her Oscars FYC. Joaquin Phoenix was the same way for the first film. The Oscars voting loves a good transformation for a character.
