An EP wouldn't surprise me either. Part of what made TFM so strong is that it's a tight, succinct album with no filler. It wouldn't be a bad option for her strategically.

Not discounting Stefani at all because her talent is undeniably special and her vision/desire for success meant that ONLY she could have pulled off Gaga, but during her imperial phase Dada and Boomkack played a big part in bringing the "Gaga experience" to life. Their contributions funneled Gaga's enthusiasm and talent into the right mold to take over the pop universe. I'd love to see her fully embrace a strong new creative team to help deliver her next vision.

Ok, Beyoncé is checking all the boxes for me right now in Gaga's absence. Gaga is always my number one, but Beyoncé is 2/2 so far on the pandemic trilogy at delivering experimental, unsafe pop sounds. In my opinion, CC is light years ahead of Joanne in terms of commitment to the folksy rock genre while making it her own. Gaga, happy birthday, but please come back soon!

Yes! I miss the glimpses into her creative process that we used to get in the pre-BTW era. She was much more open about her inspirations and sharing unpolished work.

I got excited for a second about this too, but Jonas has been using black hearts on insta for years with many of the artists he features. I don't think it means anything specific to Gaga.

I’d say close to zero (as much as I would love them to collaborate again). It seems like they were not on the same page about ARTPOP Act II and they don’t seem to be in regular communication based on DJWS’ posts.
