Considering the audience that’s giving it the positive reviews so far keeps praising the song, we don’t have much to worry about.

Me to A Star Is Born and House of Gucci. I would never see those movies if she wasn't in the starring role.

 

I guess I'm gonna watch Top Gun: Maverick too just to hear the Score and how the song blends in.

So they really MHWGO'd HMH throughout the film huh

 

But that means she probably won't get the score credit/be eligible for Score nom. A winning and a losing

Exactly. The Best Original Song category is not the same as Best Actress, Actor, or Picture. The rules and the game are different. I could see Harry getting a nomination, tbh, just because he has that old-school feel to him, but Taylor has been trying for a literal decade and they've told her "NO" every time lol. All in all, the Academy hasn't been very fond of female popstars when they're not attached to a big franchise (see James Bond).

That's what I'm so confused about. There is a possibility that HMH is interpolated in those tracks and that's why she's credited, especially now that we know HMH is used throughout the film. But I really don't know.

I powered through House of Gucci and that was a chore to watch. It was already a red flag when Ridley Scott was attached, and when I watched the movie it was proven so.
