On positive note, HMH nomination chances look strong. It is too soon to say anything but I believe biggest competition will be Taylor song, Harry song (if there is one for don't worry darling) and H.E.R

Taylor won't even make the short list tbh, this is her... what? 10th attempt to get nom at Oscars, it's clear that Oscars don't welcome her as musician, as well as an actress.

The way you completely misread what I wrote  I was referring to what Zoldyck said 

Academy don't care about such thing, if Gaga, Harry and Taylor all delivers good song, they won't hesitate nominating all of them. 

One seat is reserved for Miss Warren. She's coming.

too be honest, we need to listen to Harry and Taylor's songs but even if they are quality, it doesn't mean Academy will nominate them

Taylor did serve Safe & Sound and I Don't Wanna Live Forever and yet didn't make the shortlists... I thought Beautiful Ghosts would get her there but I guess Cats being a total mess and panned didn't help her chances

nah the musical branch more picky than you think, it took Bey 16 years to finally land her first nod & Taylor's never been shortlisted

Safe & Sound (Taylor’s best song ever, naur it’s true!) wasn’t eligible because it wasn’t the first song that played in the credits.

Taylor didn't get invited to Oscars even now, even though she has movie star boyfriends over the years, the closest she can get is Oscars after party, while Gaga has been to Oscars since 2015. Its clear as bell that Oscars doesn't care for her.

because this is a crafts category, where stats and records aren't likely to get broken as much as the main one's like we saw this year. i mean you got Diane Warren, who got her annual nomination, Bond theme song, that is on a 3 time winning streak after this year's win, Ariana's song that was presumed to get a nom for DLU got snubbed, so there's that

Wish HMH was stronger because this movie is getting some of the best reviews ever. It feels like the weakest link overall (especially when compared to the old soundtrack). 

 

Hope it clicks with the audience.

Most of the album is score, so I assume it’ll be in that category, not in Compilation Soundtrack like ASIB was
