Just reading about how excited and happy she is and how optimistic she is about this new music is enough for me. Whenever it arrives, I'll be ready and I can already feel that it will be amazing same, she seems pretty confident about her music which is a great feeling

I feel she doesn't get enough recognition for this and part of the reason is because her own fans don't hype her up enough. The way y'all dragged Joanne and Chromatica when they led the country and house resurgence how do we expect other people to respect mother when we don't. So true, it's sad punctually see also part of her fanbase downplay her achievements and what she did in the last 10 years. The only argument I will always agree with OGHs is when they labelled this fanbase 'insecure', an insecurity that has lead in the last years part of this fanbase to punctually repeat the same stale drags that her haters have repeated since years. An example also when it comes to her jazz albums, sure I can understand that not everybody like that kind of music, it's fine, but some people act as if Heidi Montag could have recorded those records easily with another legend and doing justice to those classics and winning 2 Grammys, downplaying the talent you need to deliver those records, a narrative also in this case always pushed by her haters that have always trashed those projects, when in fact it should be seen as a cool thing that somebody is able to deliver both modern dance pop and jazz classics, very rare artists can. 2

monketsharona Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Her latest post was definitely in respond of the drama that her HL live made, the 2024 vs 2025 release drama, and people doubting she has music to deliver.

DonnieDarko Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Indeed, Joanne with more acoustic and raw production would be much better but it would also need to be much more cohesive imo to have a shot at being a strong record.
DonnieDarko Posted March 29 Posted March 29 And yeah, both are very different, I don't really get the comparisons.

TedLasso Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Im so bored of the "Gaga revived those genres and y'all don't care" take It doesn't matter who revived or referenced what first, it's who actually did the best job at doing it. Like don't tell me Alice or Stupid Love are on the same level as Alien Superstar. I just hope Gaga learned that even though you can be friends with certain producers it doesn't mean y'all are always gonna pump out great work. Both Joanne and Chromatica would've benefited so much by choosing the right mixes and producers. 5 1 1 1

I mean you're not entirely wrong but "best" is subjective when both projects reference different house subgenres. I would argue the same with CC and Joanne doing sifferent country subgenres. And Alice is leagues better than Alien Superstar. We can see you tried to drag it down by grouping it with Stupid Laugh but it didn't work. 2 1
TedLasso Posted March 29 Posted March 29 (edited) Sorry I don't get the Alice hype it doesn't touch Replay which touches Gaga's older music pre ARTPOP Edited March 29 by TedLasso 1 1 2
Summer Boy Posted March 29 Posted March 29 (edited) enough with these tired "Beyoncé did it better". She did not, especially with Chromatica and Renaissance y'all let her PR and Metacritic dictate you what to think. Edited March 29 by Summer Boy 2 5 1
