A lot of people are confident it'll be Olivia Rodrigo on Fortnite, since she's on tour and dropping a deluxe. I luv her but Gaga would be infinitely more interesting of an addition to any videogame.

“Though I came on at the very end of the process, we threw ourselves into a whirlwind, two-week period of writing and recording, and I delivered the mixes just days before the album was mastered. It was a trip!”

 

Which means Gaga worked with Morgan between Jan 17 - Feb 1 and she delivered the mixes sometime later in Feb/Mar, just as the mastering was nearing completion. As we all know, pre-COVID release date for Chrome was April 10.

 

TLDR; Lead possibly next month and LG7 is coming summer 2024

And it looks just like the background of that selfie. So if that's the case, she might have been working on the album for 8 months now and like you said is probably in the final stages

We're definitely closer to it than she'd want us to believe. A new album AND tentpole movie event. It's shaping up to be a great year so far. Will be interesting to see what comes first, the lead or the teaser

My gut says the lead's first since Todd confirmed that the trailer's not coming until April and I can't see her waiting that long to release the lead with all this teasing, but we shall see! Getting an album during the first half of the year, a blockbuster during the 2nd half of the year, and (hopefully) another tour (and presumably her next film role announcement) during 2025 would be really fun and would make up for the drought that was 2023

When was Sweet Sounds of Heaven recorded? Was it recorded in September 2023? If it was way before that, she was either working on LG7 or the movie soundtrack.

I fully buy the theory that she's been working on LG7 since last summer but wasn't the post that you linked a throwback post about SSOH sessions? And SSOH was recorded early Jan 2023 iirc while she was at *Henson rehearsing for Joker as she later confirmed.

It looks like their album was mostly recorded between December 2022 and February 2023. Gaga was either working on LG7 or the movie soundtrack then. Wish we knew which was the case.

Oh that answers my post above. She was working on joker at that point.

So yeah summer 2023 seems like a likely starting timeframe. Maybe she worked on it more herself before that, but I feel like she didn’t start working with others on it until last summer.
