It seemed pretty obvious it was just speculation. Now to add fire to the flame: if Dua only got wind of the single this close to release date maybe Gaga-camp are working hard to keep this a secret, which is why we don't have much info.

Same release time of Feb, which means they will likely follow their original release plan for Chromatica, meaning we would probably get the album in April.

I believe @Blade said it was supposed to come out a week or two earlier than the 28. I remember her team allegedly kept pushing the song back.

The way she's really going with the original Chromatica schedule. 

If Blade’s source knew that Gaga was releasing in February back in November, I’m sure people in the industry would know the release date. Dua’s team wouldn’t just find out right now

It’s not the fact that the link has been used for many years, of course it has, when Chromatica was released, it redirected to a Chrom page, same for ASIB, LFS, etc.

 

It’s the fact it seems to have recently been relisted as a live link again, with a temporary UMusic landing page.

Killing the excitement as always.
