This 100% the darkness of Gaga and BTW perfectly captured by Nick Knight is arguably her best and most cohesive photoshoot and era IMO. The way each photo tells a different story and shows a different persona whilst being part of the grand concept of Born This Way. I could honestly talk about this shoot and era on and on for days.

Some many of Gaga's mid-tier hits like Alejandro, Paparazzi, Million Reasons, ARUTW, Rain On Me, etc. are enough to carry a show, with maybe 1-2 mega smashes like Bad Romance.

tbh I care less about which ones come back and more that she finally does an actual new arrangement for them 

 

other than small details like the John Wayne riff in Lovegame or shortening some songs (medley or not), she doesn’t really reimagine them unless it’s a straight up acoustic version

 

Kylie reinvents her older hits most of the time and it’s exciting (even when some don’t quite hit). Helps keep older songs from being boring to sing for the millionth time and it’s fun as a fan to hear something get a new life
