I feel bad for Katy. She looks really depressed/tired performing her show and I’m sure it isn’t easy being a mom to an infant. The good sis has been through enough and this upcoming Vegas leg is going to have a tragic gross now that most of the hardcore fans have gone. The monsters should just lay off her for this :rip: we’ve gone in on the kats enough.

yeah.. let’s not drag katy. the good sis is not even comparable competition with gaga in any shape or form these days. even if she was, her and miss man are on good terms anyway :rip:

hope she serves a massive comeback sometime though tbh :clap3:

Uh **** that lol. Katy stans still take every chance they can to drag Gaga. While I do feel bad for Katy, I don't feel bad in the slightest for the few stans she has left because they're truly awful people.

Gaga looking hot on Instagram & being active on TikTok with a Cardi sound, possibly hinting at a collab? Liddos are winning today

I hate to be a little complainer and I’ve never been one of those stans who gets angry about her doing things that aren’t dance pop, but I lowkey fume and get so pissed that she engages with us online so much to promote Haus Labs and couldn’t even be bothered to follow through with the “postponed” listening party for Chromatica :deadbanana:

I hope during the LG7 campaign, she addresses why she left Chromatica high and dry. COVID and Black Lives Matter are not valid excuses considering that period gave us the Future Nostalgia and After Hours eras. Even if it’s just to say “it was too painful for me to promote” or “I felt discouraged that things didn’t go according to plan” would be fine. I’d just like it to be addressed. not to harp on the past.

I mean I stan her but it was clear the album was phoned in. The production is so basic aside from "Rain On Me" and maybe "Babylon". Like, Fame Monster/Born This WayGa would've never. She also used demos that had existed previously like Sour Candy and Sine From Above. I'm pretty sure Rain On Me is in that boat too considering the amount of writers. It was a long shot from the only Gaga + the producers writing credits of her first few albums.

It really sounds like she sourced most of the tracks, re-recorded some, wrote the bare minimum from scratch like she used to, handed them off to Bloodpop and co., and the third or fourth mix that came back she was like "**** it, this is good enough, let's just release this ****." And I agree that the events of 2020 weren't an excuse because the era was messy from the start. Not acknowledging the leak, the fact the video was an iPhone advertisement, the initial six week window between single and album and no promo scheduled for the first two weeks....it really seemed she wanted to chuck it out there, do a VERY quick lil tour, collect her money and GTFO.

I feel like her goals are now more centred around Hollywood. She is a bona fide actress now. And that Hold My Hand Instagram announcement had more passion than most of what she posted about Chromatica. She probably only made the album because her/her label felt she NEEDED to release an album with a few hits on it to capitalize off of ASIB and reconnect with her pop fanbase.

She already said she didn’t think it felt right to promote the album with everything else going on. COVID and BLM are valid excuses :coffee2:

…for a couple months. The campaign allegedly was going to be “huge” and could have picked up after the protests died down/after COVID became more normalized. Certainly not a valid excuse to the extent of how an album cycle could be handled.

This is pretty much bullshit. How many times are we going to do this merry go round? She said herself she started most of the songs on the album at the piano, And let's not pretend like the entire The Fame album isn't a basic synth collection :rip: The shot on iPhone video had nothing to do with anything, it was something Interscope was having their artists do at the time. And it's clear the pandemic ruined the entire album campaign.

I'm just SO sick of this nonsense being said. Enough already. Move on. Everyone else has.

Ok lash me

Not more Chromatica era fan fiction from scorned fans ffs :rip:

Unless you were there with Gaga, you have no idea what went on behind the scenes :rip:

Some of y’all need to get over it and move on  :rip:

I think the conversation on Chromatica being a “because i have to” is half right.

I don’t think she half ass’d the songs but she does need to release studio albums she literally restarted her contract with Joanne. It’s probably like release 5 albums by 2028 or something.

Gaga's IG feed is so funny. :bibliahh: You'll get a paid post, then some Haus Labs stuff, and suddenly her ass is out and she's feeling herself. Then she's posting about BTWF. Queen.

Yeah, I mean, that's definitely true. She does have to release albums because she's contractually obligated to lol.

But I'll never go along with this narrative that Gaga phoned in Chromatica, not when she has songs like Enigma that were written very early on, and many songs that were written at the piano. The production isn't anything complex, but that's what makes it good imo. it's simple and smooth, and lyrically the album is her strongest. Joanne and ARTPOP also have songs that weren't originally hers, yet I never see anyone accusing her of phoning in those albums.

It just feels like fans who are still pissed off she didn't promote/push the album more trying to make it right in their heads by convincing themselves Gaga hates this album and wanted nothing to do with it, and it's so tired.

Y’all are really so annoying. COVID barley became normalized like a year after the album came out. There was clearly plans but no use pushing a dead album at that point. The way y’all continue to make fake narratives when there were clearly more important things she decided to focus her time on just so y’all can talk **** is so TIRED

It’s not a fake narrative when other album campaigns were doing just fine during the exact same time period. After the initial few months of COVID, people figured out very quickly how to promote records in the new landscape so it did indeed become normalized in the context of promoting an entertainment campaign. To suggest otherwise is the only false narrative here. The way y’all lash out at people for having opinions :deadbanana:Sorry you got so bothered

It's been two years now (literally) this month since its release and we're still going in circles about "What went wrong: Traumatica edition" while we're 24 hours away from her new single and video. Lord.

idk. who sent u nudes @DonnieDarko? and were they hot?

WibmAlx.gif

They were not. Someone who sends a nude „by mistake” to a married man is never hot in my world, babe.

When Gaga's Chromatica was nowhere to be found in 2020, I turned to Dua's Future Nostalgia because homegirl was working her ass off.
