This is excellent & the best pop song on ASIB

 

I legit forgot Hair existed until a few comments ago. Such a bad song. BTW is her magnum opus but damn does it have some really bad songs. This is why Chromatica rivals BTW - it doesn't have numerous horrendous songs like BTW does.

Born this Way really only has like 3 stinkers imo. Hair, Americano (admit it) and maybe Bad Kids. Mostly just because the lyrics are so stupid and juvenile. The highs on BTW are higher than on Chromatica which is a more consistent album. Rain on Me might be her best pop single ever so that helps too.

Aborted Kids is disgusting stain to her discography.

I agree with the whole post. I hate Americano too. BTW has higher highs but much lower lows than Chromatica, which results in them being close in overall score imo.

Rain On Me is the 6th most acclaimed song of 2020. Period.

 

Stupid Noise was riding off of the ASIB goodwill she had back then. She could have released anything and it would still get good reception.

I disagree they totally fit the vibe of the album in my opinion. The album release was such an event for me back then

Shame BM isn’t getting bigger updates on radio. Would be something though if it sticks around all year and survives till Halloween time so we can see it revive yet again  

 

No joke, I can see this hitting 500 million in 2023. If radio actually grows more, possibly even higher than 500 million.

Stupid Love is a good song imo. In the context of it being a Gaga song, it becomes meh because we know she's capable of much better. It's still a bop.  HIGHER, HIIIIIGHERRRRRR

Because they’re just bad. Corny lyrics, clunky production. And before you come for BK, its production sounds AMAZING in Dolby Atmos, unlike the other 2 which aged like milk. I’m not saying Bad Kids is on par with Bad Romance, but it has a strong melody & its bridge is an album highlight. Melodies are my personal favorite aspects of songs, especially in pop music, and Bad Kids’ are superior.
