I do want a mayhem deluxe or a remix album more than that though, it's what helps boost the girls albums and keeps them stable. It would be odd if she didn't release one like every other artist does

yes! if i remember correctly Gaga said Bruno presented her a lot of almost finished songs and they were all uptempo bops but she picked DWAS because she felt like fans would want to hear them singing a love ballad together (which she was right clearly!). I bet he showed her a lot of amazing funky songs that she could add her Gaga spice to. 

Though like u said, the logical thing for her would be to do a deluxe down the line for Mayhem first. I hope she releases it like mid tour. It would help keep the momentum and hype going and by then she would have released another Mayhem standard single and had it have a full chart run too

I think Spotify's tried to do some algorithm shifts to shake up the top daily streamed songs. Probably because it's been DWAS/APT/BOAF for 9ish months now  So they try to maybe shift any autoplay/recommended songs elsewhere (as well as the APK crackdown they had recently).
 

The problem is nothing else has stuck DWAS-style this year. And I don't want that collab to be the song that does, but seeing the state of the world these days  

The most ironic thing about Abra is that it topped Us Spotify a week after it was released   And I don't believe it ever topped Global Spotify. Yet 2-3 Months later Abra is smashing WW and now we are celebrating it being like number 40 in the US. A win is a win! But the US taste is sumn else.

Probably won't happen this year but Abra is pretty much guaranteed to hit 1B in 2026 comfortably at this point.
