For GP I’m thinking it’s getting harder and harder for her. Like she needs gimmicks, collabs, movies to bypass radio and streaming and her longevity issue (outside of France/Italy). Therefore the joker musical will serve as her GP smash album, and it’ll have some pop but mainly Rocky sound with Phoenix collabs. It’ll have a movie behind it which is what she needs + male collab. Basically the ASIB template, it’ll obviously be an OST

 

For her studio era I think a dance album with full visual package. This will be aimed at critics (and aimed at fans to get high peak). No focus on making it pop for radio. Full experiment, radio wouldn’t support it anyway but fans would give it a decent first week. It’s be her AOTY attempt

I don't think the Joker soundtrack can be compared to ASIB honestly. If its indeed a musical then it depends on how the movie clicks with the audiences. Definitely not another Shallah/ARUTW but maybe "Mad Love (Lady Gaga & Joaquin Phoenix)" cab be a cute hit for her. We barely know how it's gonna be like so let's wait until things get clearer next year.

 

 

For LG7, I truly don't want another dance album tbh. Unless it has a heavy hyperpop/electro-rock soundscape. But I'm afraid she would fall for her insecurities and try to please The Fame fans.

Tbh, I get why some people feel this way, but it's not like the public completely ignored Chromatica. It debuted with 40M+ streams and even Stupid Love did 5M first-day. People just thought it was too basique and dropped it.

 

I've said it before, but for all the talk Liddos do about how revered she is and is seen in such a specific way by the public, we never acknowledge that she honestly just has different standards applied to her in comparison to other pop girls. When people go see her on tour or in Vegas, they expect a show. When news broke about her doing a song for Top Gun, people expected a timeless banger. People want a Gaga record to be excited about regardless of genre, not just whatever fodder pops up in her head forst. The entire reason she had the ascension she did was because she was doing stuff no one else was. The biggest thing at this point is making sure that the vision and quality is always there.
