now that it’s on TTH can they please update the intro to the radio version intro so the skip rate isn’t through the roof and it doesn’t fall out of the playlist in 3 weeks

First of all, there is no radio version. Radio plays the intro

 

Second of all, streams are slowly but steadily rising. Clearly the intro is a nonfactor

The ‘radio version’ never existed Yeah the intro is weird af but it’s too short to really make a difference. By the time someone could react, the actual song has already started so…

So from 900k-1m it will go to 1.3-1.4m 

Not bad 

Hopefully we get a boost of like 300k first day. IAW got a boost of like 400k but it got added to a lot of Hot Hits Playlist the same day.

Heat Waves came on shuffle and the intro is literally 15 seconds of weird muffled noises so I think we’re good

Yup. Plus the intro IS a factor. We have people doing those things on PopA911 forum and we have proof the skip rate is the highest during the intro.

I don't know if the timing is "perfect". 

I just don't get it how for example Bad Habits or Easy On Me can be on TTHs for 1,5 years and Gaga can't get her brand new single there since the beginning and only for 3-4 weeks

My station plays the intro. It's kinda hard to miss it when it comes on suddenly

 

Also, that means nothing. How do we know people aren't just skipping it because it's a Gaga song or because they don't care to listen to the song in general? The skip rate being highest at the beginning of the song is literally meaningless no matter what the intro was.

Half the people that are going to skip a song do so in the first 5 seconds. Again, the intro has nothing to do with the skip rate. So stupid that anyone even tried using that as an argument for low playlisting, or went out of their way to find it out lmao.

Why are you comparing Bad Habits and Easy on Me to HMH? Both are some of the biggest smash hits this decade that deserved that long of a residency since there was a lot of demand for them.

 

Meanwhile, HMH couldnt even crack top 200 on US Spotify with the biggest movie of the year, and you are wondering why it was added this late?
