I don't think they understand how annoying and exhausting this is. How hard it is to simply just post a single cover and date, even Spotify already leaked it come on now...

Im confused how any of you expected something else to happen??? She obviously was gonna delete today to announce the single tomorrow, and that spiel will go on till release or in the very least till Friday

Because its dumb and exhausting and if they had half a brain they would announce after literally everything has been spoiled already. Her fan account posted the title and the release date is already out because of Spotify. Get it over with already.

That I can get behind, it’s tedious and really not exciting at all, hyping up lead singles should never be elongated to this point. 2 weeks max is what would be good. Meg stans have been fed though so at least we’re getting her

What’s almost worse is that I had that suspicion that the messiness and chaos of the rollout were the consequence of what’s going on in the world but with Houdini as the single and his death being so close in date, it seems like they planned to have it be this boring and unexciting as it is…

when they post and delete 9 posts... and that means we're not even halfway thru what then

The post/delete pattern should have happened over a period of like a week. Something like a tease Saturday, delete, then an announcement Monday, delete, then a longer tease Wednesday, delete, and then release the song on Friday. Everyone would freak out after the first delete, then it would make sense the next day, then everyone's excited for the song, and then it's out.

 

If we have to endure this for another 9-10 days 💀
