There definitely is country music wallowing all over this track, I think genre wise it's more akin to the giver, the music video is also very western, however, it still is very much pop, Country pop

Also the song played at the very end of ''Inside of your head when you've won argument with a man'' (side b of the 7in vinyl) is the intro of a song, shes singing something along the lines of ''take your clothes off'' or something. this is an album roll out, which is confounding, she and her team should've given short n sweet another year to permeate. but I guess were going right into the next album. definitely not a droplet

we also said that espresso was a just a droplet and not a lead single, look at what happened. no label would spend this amount of money in a music video for it to not be a lead single. this is a lead single

These songs are longggg she's clearly not looking to be vindicated by the TikTok crowd

I literally cannot believe the album is not done yet. That just confirmed all of my fears of there being no strategic planning to anything she's been doing these past months since March. Why the **** do we have an era aesthetic, brand deals and teasing of songs if the album isn't even ******* finished. A mess m. See y'all in September or October

Also isn't it kinda off that she's got aesthetic curation, photo shoots, and commercials ready and going if she's clearly still recording or mixing the songs???

Babes… bad news I fear?… when artists backed by major labels release songs, then those said songs are registered anywhere between 3 to 12 months prior to release. However, when they're preparing for an album campaign labels usually start registering songs in bulks. That usually means that the song could be only a month or two away, but again that also doesn't seem to be the case since only jealous type was registered (I checked for acts of service and couldn't find it). Either way, it's gonna be months. And if not months, then it means messy rollout…

Please please please don't tell me that it was registered only today, cause if that's the case we will NOT be seeing that song anytime soon. If anything it'll be late summer

That's what I've been thinking. People have a real thirst right now for pop music. High octane, fun, danceable. Doja is literally the pioneer of a sound that people have been ripping off for five years. So where's the announcement, the rollout, the marketing??? Everything including the random commercials and even the Marc Jacob's campaign feel so arbitrary because we had no prior announcement of anything new music-related. Everything feels odd and chaotic

Whats happening with this rollout. Does anybody have an idea what's going on with the team management?
