Exactly…it’s not rocket science.  Do the work, be humble, don’t get wrapped up in the outcome.  
 

To a degree, I feel like even Nicki got wrapped up in the idea of “Nicki Minaj” too…and it’s affected her a bit in recent years (despite having all the talent, longevity, etc.).  
 

I was gonna make a thread about that, but ATRL already doing too much on Nicki…so I left it alone lol.  Although we love “The Bad Guy” Nicki, clearly GP here for the fun upbeat Nicki. But anyway….

I bet the leak happened because of someone on mgmt vs. the label.

 

Labels are just so strict, with it being watermarked + traceable.  
 

I used to work in mgmt and I have all 60+ demos of a particular big artist from one of his eras.  Including duets that were never released.  Still in my iTunes library after all these years…   Mgmt is much more loose on these things.

 

Some intern working with mgmt that was a Barb prob leaked

From what I understand, she said the singles aren't from the album.

It would be standalone songs à la Rosalia pre-Motomami era with TKN, Con Altura, etc...

If they perform well though, the label WILL want them on the album for album charting purposes tho, lol.   Especially if they’re huge.

 

Unless they are super duper experimental, then I can see them not caring.
