i think working with jack could be alright if she's bringing a strong sense of direction to the table, cos he's known for encouraging artists to take big swings if that's what they want to do

 

otoh if she's falling back on him for musical ideas i fear we're getting the jack drums

I'm hoping some good music comes out of this - the last few months she's been busy with getting her tour going with all the rehearsals/costumes/setlists etc plus performing, so I'm glad she didn't put music on the backburner. So excited to see what direction it takes.

I'm hoping she has a strong sense of where she is going with new music and won't let anyone push her in any way, her albums have not let me down yet so I'm hoping for a good result.

 

just hearing they've been in the studio is making me happy. She's always had a good work ethic and drive to write and make music

i think it's good that she's looking to come back so soon and with such a big name, it feels like she's got a plan which is always interesting

something I've been thinking about is, with the tour set list being so very c,xoxo and romance heavy, that maybe that's an idea of where things are going, that maybe she'll try to make a big out and out pop record like romance but with a more unusual edge to it?
 

The talk about people like jack and dan nigro would make sense in that context I think, they're both very commercial producers but who've worked with artists who have a vision that they want to bring to things

that sounds like a good direction for her, her label needs to get on board also though, not sending anything to radio is so frustrating
