The hive is divided on what they want but I want act 3 and visuals. I love CC and I think it's a better album than Ren but I want something new and we been craving for visuals. Maybe Y'all got over it but some of us hive miss seeing Bey on music videos. Yeah music videos are dead but these songs tell a story and I would like to see how they all come together

What are they chewing on exactly? They did next to nothing during the CC era (arguably Renny as well, besides the tour+film), and when the things were ACTUALLY happening they completely ****** it up. Scamming the fans with the "Beyincé" vinyl and then releasing the "official" one months later, abandoning the album right after the release, no promo, no visuals, not pushing any singles, taking pre-orders for an art book and then delaying it, not announcing whatever it is that we are waiting for right after the performance (the smart thing to do), delaying the announcement indefinitely and waiting until the last minute to do it for no reason, when the fires were already really bad last week. It's sloppy, it's unprofessional, it's amateurish and frankly embarrasing at this point for an artist of her caliber.

This may seem insignificant but l am just now finding out that in YaYa the lyrics aren't "keep this crystal on the dash/in my seat"….. it's pistol. 
 

wtf my mind is blown. It's kinda fun finding out the real lyrics months later. I don't read the lyrics as I listen unlike a certain fanbase trying to solve the mysterious poem. It ain't that deep.

I think they thought they'd get away with the whole mysterious, no promo, no videos, no anything tactic and that people were still going to make the albums into classics. I mean, the very first move of having us buy the box sets without a cover, album title or anything should've clued us in to how they really thought we would just eat the music up.  a mess. That approach just does not work anymore in the streaming era. And even aside from chart success, no one wants to wait years to watch music videos or films that frankly will probably not be worth waiting YEARS for. Don't get me wrong, we know she'll deliver but YEARS? She could've at least given us each act's visuals before the next act. It's ridiculous and like someone said on the other page, it's not paying off...

 

And yeah, I know lol. I'm not a huge dance music fan. I'm also not queer and I think that may have been a strong connection point for a lot of people lol. But it's still an excellent album with lush productions and some of my favorite Bey songs ever (Virgo's Groove, AS, AHAP).

I totally get it but there are def some people who just straight up don't like it. For example I feel like if Renny was act 2, some of the people saying that they'll drag her if she only tours wouldn't have been saying that, that's all. I mean, somebody on this very page just said it's her worst album. I've seen similar sentiments on twitter. Which is 100% fine btw, I'm just getting on my soapbox for the day lol. I agree about the visuals. Plus I think my point is moot bc act 3 probably will release this year.

Lol it's funny because top 5 makes it sound so bad but it's just cause the albums above it are so excellent to me or have higher highs for me. It's hard to outdo the doer
