Waiting until the very last minute is so mean. I love it.

There was no reason to wait until today to announce it. 

 

I understand the decision to postpone but at the same time, knowing the type of person she is, that's always changing her mind, I'm not all that excited anymore. It will probably not be what it was supposed to be. 

 

And if it's just a live component (tour, residency etc), there's no excuse to not announce it right after the performance.

If it is a tour logistically it would have to have been announced already. Those dates are supposedly booked and has to sell. That's why I think it's something else. Also next year is the World Cup in the US, it will be much harder to tour here.

I knew the crashout was going to be bad and I am always ready to drag Parkwood but wishing for the tour to fail and family burn?????? It's not that serious yall, omg.

same, CC and act iii should be toured together or not at all.

It's the right decision, she would have been ripped to shreds if she announced a tour (especially if LA dates were involved).

I think she still will. Cowboy Carter is/was made to reflect the nature of America and its current/past situations in regards to class, race, and travesty. Cowboy Carter IS the album of our time and I think her sticking to its nature will only further prove her message. It would be odd if she took that part out imo.

If it really is JUST a tour they fumbled not announcing it after the performance. the 3 week wait to announce sounds absurd. 

1 I don't think it was tour, at least not just that. 

 

I think there was probably something to consume right away like a single or films and the tour part was just an announcement of when the tickets would go on sale.

Exactly! They should've announced the 14th as the date of sale, with a possibility to pre-order tickets
