Here's the thing: The Sphere was originally set to open in 2021, but construction stopped in March 2020 due to COVID-19. It didn't reopen until September 2023 with U2's concerts. Imagine Beyoncé's team had plans for CC to debut alongside a residency at the Sphere, but when the delays hit, she had to pivot....
 

Maybe Renaissance became the first act of the trilogy because it allowed her to tour globally with an album that is a stadium album while waiting for the Sphere to be completed for Act II. That would give time to finalize the building for the perfect residency like no one has ever done before.
 

Could it be that Beyoncé's strategy wasn't just about the albums feeling right for the moment (dance tracks after COVID-19), but also about syncing the music with the different kind of venues like the Sphere? If so, those delays may have reshuffled her entire vision.

The Verizon commercial hinted at The Sphere, but that was released before reports back in July stated that plans for the Sphere and Bey fell through. In those same reports, sources stated that she was speaking to rival MGM about a possible residency of roughly 100 shows over four years. So idk if the Sphere is still going to be involved or maybe MGM but.... what are your thoughts?

I just dont see how she is going to tour when the world is so messed up right now. It just doesn't seem like a moment for Bey to tour. Usually i feel it when she is about to tour. Releasing Act III right now would be smarter and then when things become more stable in the world, tour both albums to give people some joy.
