A tour was my strongest guess when it was first announced but now I'm thinking it's act iii related. HDD saying that she's gonna announce the tour on Jan 9th with onsale being Jan 14th doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would she announce an announcement with a date of Jan 14th just to still do an announcement before that?  Seems clunky when she could have just said Jan 9th to begin with

As much as I don't want this to be true, she could easily launch a tour trailer on January 9th and say tickets on sale January 14th.  It'd still be the same date she teased before.

Wouldnt mind a lead single for Act 3 on the 14th or is it to early ?

What is the issue? Taylor literally announced a new album onstage at the Grammys. People perform new songs at the Grammys. I think you are overthinking it. 

It's not lost on me that the Little Monsters were the number one force behind the "No solo #1 since the Bush admin!" until BMS came along, but now that DWAS is number one they're all like, "The charts don't care if it's solo or not, a number one is a number one"

She announced her last tour at a damn art gala, I don't think she's pressed about when she announces a tour because the tickets will sell themselves regardless. And that's even if this is an actual tour.

Squid Games is now at 126 million after 11 days.  It was released when BB was.  that's pretty impressive IMO

I feel like we of all bases can think the utmost when it comes to her announcing anything. She has the most unconventional release strategies in the industry, so I don't see the issue in getting our hopes up for something related to the 3 acts. We've been conditioned to either be let down OR overfed. There's no in between. It could literally be anything. It's also why her haters fume when she doesn't release in a conventional/basic way that's pannable. They'll cry "gimmick/smoke and mirrors" and stay mad at the way she's able to reinvent herself and have such longevity in a way their favs fail to do.
