I know Spotify isn't everything but Beyoncé's team has GOT to do something to preserve her legacy post-TikTok. Let's be honest, the Renaissance tour didn't do **** for her discography. I think Cozy had the highest percentage gain pre tour vs post tour and even that number was abysmal. I'm not sure why touring or excessive promo (Freedom) doesn't boost her songs individual streams by much. There's no reason why Freedom shouldn't have been close to a million daily streams when Kamala used it for her campaign. News journalists name dropping the song at DNC convention. Freedom peaked at 280k streams on Election Day… that's dreadful. 
 

This year Haunted and Diva really took off. CIL also became really stable above 800k.  This is all thanks to TikTok trends. Texas Hold 'Em also tanked the moment it was muted on TikTok. When the app is banned in the US she needs to do something to remind Gen Z who she is cause the old heads aren't listening anymore.

bey didn't prioritize getting hits for like a decade and she will probably continue paying for that in the future. not sure there's anything she can do it about it

Im sorry, but I fail to believe Die With A Smile is this massive for so many weeks. Same goes for Taylor uber power. It all comes across as very sus to me.

 

Theres a LOT of shadiness going on when it comes to streaming platforms and their numbers, I am convinced of that

Eh I mean autoplay is definitely a thing. That's 100% the reason for Sabrina's breakout moment. I can believe Die with a Smile just because people like to listen to miserable music especially by 2 nostalgic artists gen z loves. But once you show Spotify you like the song it'll autoplay every time you open the app. It did that heavily with Sabrina for me and previously Madison Beer. And Chappel despite me never going out of my way to click on her songs and always skipping if it popped up. If payola exists it's definitely on Spotify.

Nah. Die with a smile is a definitely not organic and its very obvious. 

 

Bey would care about hits and push for more streaming hit if she was in her 20's. Her legacy is already secured, she's not changing anything else. Because those people with paid for spotify streams (Which the drake case really confirms) can't fill up a cafeteria sized show to save a life.

I totally agree with this. I feel streaming services are VERY shady towards Bey. Remember the countless records she was breaking with Apple Music and still does EVERYTIME she releases? She's not just an Apple Music darling but also an iTunes one too.
