I think we are in for a Stevie Tribute kinda performance with more dramatics and visual statements.

Aka a legendary performance

:jonny6:

It will be this, she'll be doing yaya like that and securing sold out stadiums for the next tour this way

I see what you mean and ish like that the Stevie Grammy tribute will work as a base format.

But she HAS to make a point of falling in and out of choreo throughout. She has to

I'm not at that level of stanning where I'm to clap for her just because.

There is a certain expectation of what a Bey performance ought to give (that she established), so she kinda has to find a way to deliver on that.

I love that she's a versatile queen and is one of the greatest vocalists of all

time. So, will always have that in her arsenal.

IMO, if she was attempting light choreo in Dubai in a kitten heel, she is for sure dancing this time lol.

Same!

The way something in my gut can't shake the possibility of it being a pre-taped Be Alive situation or a hybrid of pre-taped with a little portion in person.

Pretty much everyone I've discussed it with offline believes it will be a conventional Halftime and doesn't get my uncertainty.

But for me, a combo of her literally not performing on TV for so long and the only time she does so it's

prerecorded makes the idea of her going back to traditional live performing surprising (like you said).

Plus, there is literally no precedent set for this Halftime. She's the inaugural performer, so in theory she could go as conventional as a traditional Halftime, a little left and creative with a condensed Homecoming, or something totally different (and pre-taped) that rips up the rulebook in its entirety.

Plus, I wonder what the NFL's angle is with this. The Super Bowl is still its tentpole event. Is airing a Halftime that rivals or exceeds the Super Bowl Halftime in scale and spectacle a good look? Does it take away from that? Or does the NFL not give an f because they want this new Xmas Day concept to become a "thing"?

I'd personally love a conventional all-out Halftime in the vein of 2013. Or Homecoming. But I'm equally bracing for a: Beyonce rides home for Halftime and makes a number of (pre-taped lol) stops at iconic Houston landmarks on the way. With maybe the stadium getting climatic horse and carriage entrance and finale performance of Texas as the in-person portion.

We'll see very soon, I'm just struggling to shake the feeling I have that she'll sooner prioritize perfection and presentation these days than subject herself to the elements of a totally

live setup.

I think it's possible we get something pre-taped (first part of the perfomance, while they're setting up the stage) and then the rest will be live. It's a way to extend her performance since they probably won't have much time.. but most of it has to be live. Even Mama Tina posted about the demand increasing for tickets and said "see you there". It would be a bad look if she didn't even perform live there

She better come out on a horse and do some line dancing for Texas Hold'Em! I want this performance to be the video we never got :jonny:

Are we sure the CMAS and the Grammy country voters are the same ppl/ picked from the same pool bec:lakitu:ause

I mean lainey wilson who won best country album in 2023 cmas also won the grammys....a lot of times the winners do correlate. Its possible the reason beyonce got so many country grammy noms is because there are more grammy voters than cma voters who probably also voted.

the way she was the center of that event without even being there :rip: I love it

She will have people hating if she uses a horse.

She could come in on a carriage instead.

Some mechanical horse

She could use some kunty mechanical horse. I feel like the horse is a symbol for the era (and the whole trilogy) so she should use it somehow

lately I been coming back to 16C and Texas a lot playing them on repeat like we're back in February :lmao:

sorry but these two songs are so good and were 100% the right choice for the first singles

imagine she drops iii singles for act iii

The way her obvious teasing of act III just a few weeks ago is a distant memory now.

I'm still intrigued.

She's definitely pulled back on the "every appearance must be CC-coded" thing. And hints for Act III have been borderline verbatim. And I say this as someone who has been screaming "where did the Rock thing come from to be taken so seriously?"

We're either on the edge of wrapping up CC with the upcoming Halftime or she simply doesn't feel the need to play dress up as much anymore.

I think the Christmas performance could be this era's equivalent to the RWT movie.

The movie and My House was Renaissance's last hurrah, marking the end of the era. This performance may be her way of bidding farewell to CC.

Y'all the more I think about this halftime performance the more I'm realizing this isn't just the everyday run of the mill Tour Concert. We were so spoiled with The Renaissance Tour because it felt like a SuperBowl performance every night.

The difference with this one is that she's got the NFL Budget/Team. It's the first of its kind. It's LIVE in front of millionnsss of people, people that didn't go to the Renaissance Tour that have YET to see her perform Live in yearrsss. Annndddd it's one of her first televised performances in yearsss. Like this is a whoooolleee different scenario, I think she's really gonna have us in AAWEEEE! AGHHH!!! :deadbanana2:

I remember seeing the covers of THE and 16C and thinking its fake and AI :rip:

American Requiem will literally MURDER that performance. I've been obsessed with it lately and that song was MADE to be sung as intro to a stadium performance

I see the US colors (Red, white and blue), I see smoke, I see a ring, I see golden lights, i see fire:jonny5:

are you sure you're not just watching the lord of the rings ? :deadbanana2:

Back to your post about her being live inside the stadium @Cbreezy. Despite it feeling too good to be true, i fear she just has no other choice than performing LIVE live (even if some parts are pre-recorded and im honestly here for that as well, there's a lot she can do with that medium). Cause i can already see the shitstorm that would ensue if she got thousands of people sitting in that stadium watching a screen, expecting her to show up and she just doesn't:rip:She would rightfully be dragged to hell and i'm sure she's aware of that (at least i hope she is/cares)

Don't set yourself up for disappointment. There won't be another FWT or Coachella, those were entirely choreography-driven, so no way she'll replicate those shows. Not after her painful surgery.

Yonce's post here was fairly sensible. Thus, that's what I'm expecting too.
