Between the painfully obvious sample, to the overly-repetitive chorus, to it literally have no resemblance the album it was supporting. Countdown was also RIGHT THERE!!!!

Formation, CIL, Déjà Vu, RTW, Single Ladies are literally top tier. Self titled doesn't "really have a lead" imo as it was an album drop I didn't feel like there was a true lead. She does really make STRONG lead singles.

I knoooow but I meant because of the context of the album, I felt like it wasn't a true "lead" like a lead that would introduce an album basically. I felt like because we got everything at once it felt différent unlike Lemonade where we got formation before the album

i felt the same with RTW. The way I HATED RTW. I remember I felt like it wasn't a true "uptempo" it felt SLOW at first but when that BBMA performance came UP !? No that song was meant to be LIVED.
