i swear that some people base their expectations of rock on some alt emo groups  they weren't any better with country

If she were to do a "rock" album I'd like her doing something more textured or genre-bending in the style of Brittany Howard, Steve Lacy or Yves Tumor over something more classic sounding.

 

I don't think she's doing rock tho. 

She has done a lot of soft rock type tracks, too, on IA…SF

yes. Beyoncé is the only artist who improves her work album-over-album, it's crazy. I will never doubt her.

The fact that she worked on CC before RENAISSANCE and took 5 years to create it made me more excited about the project. The quality of the music must be really good if she prefered to wait all this time to release it - we may experience one of her best album
