4: I Care is a genuine expression on how she is willing to fight for her relationship even if it means bringing him around to understanding empathy. This is better than LOT bty miles, that song is dumbed down.

 

Self Titled: Rocket is the standout, sultry, sexy, classy, and the longer it goes... the better it gets. Virgo's Groove wishes tbh.

 

Lemonade: Formation no competition, the wordplay of getting into formation as a group and/or getting information for knowledge gagged me and never let go, her magnum opus of songs, it will be studied. It's dripped in culture, she sings, raps, it's gorgeous!

 

The Gift: Otherside

 

RENAISSANCE: I fear Cozy is that girl, I think this song will have a huge moment somewhere in the future for trans rights.

I need more vocals this era! On her last album, POTS and VG were the only proper vocal showcases.

I think those were the most “traditional” showcases along with Cuff It, but I’d argue that I’m That Girl is also one in its own more leftfield way. Those backing harmonies are some of her most ethereal and otherworldly, and I really love that she showcases her lower range, restraint, and power when she needs to

 

idk it just feels like a very cerebral approach and I find it underrated

Initially wasn't gonna put The Gift in there but I know Gift-Hive would have been pissed and how could not allow FYWB and Bigger to be highlighted

I agree, ITG and Alien Superstar had some crazy vocal stacking and harmonies!

 

It's just that sometimes I prefer them isolated and the instrumentation more minimal.

The one thing that can unite Basé. We can drag and complain about Jay, the album titles, her incompetence, the dry wigs, the lack of visuals but always come together for rankings.
