mind you even 16 carriages is showing some signs of stability especially with the block buster that is TH’E. You would’ve thought it would be completely overshadowed and disappeared of the charts already…

Yes I’m eating my words, I’m literally shocked at the success really, even my friends who hate country love the songs, so I’m really baffled

I loved both of the songs from the first moment I listened to them, so I’m really happy for all the success

Honestly THE was meh for me on first listen but I’m loving it now. 16 carriages is the one I immediately was drawn to and I truly hope it  gets IIWAB treatment.  Although, radio doesn’t seem to be adding it right now. 

 

The most amazing thing about this is that people are RAVINGGGG about 16 Carriages. Like it’s literally getting it’s flowers too. Just go on TikTok and see all the TikTok, Twitter, Instagram. It’s going viral too. A lot of people are raving about how amazing and emotional of a song it is. It’s literally just the tip of the iceberg. Even musicians are gagginggg too! 
 

But the way TH’E Visualizer is completely soaring in views on YouTube. It was literally neck and neck with 16C Visualizer on release day but now it’s dang near almost 1M+ views ahead of it . And everyonneee is creating their own dances to the song on TikTok too! Agh this is so beautifullll!!! Like I really see what Beyoncé was meaning about holding off the visuals. Everyone looks so happy .

I think a reason 16 carriages is not doing as well on Spotify might be that its not easy to find on her page. Like you have to scroll down all her albums to find it. Texas Holdem is the one that is at the top of her page. Idk for sure though.

16 carriages is just less boppy that's why it gets less streams

It's the better song by a mile though

 

I think 16 carriages has legs - it can very likely rise after THE initial run 

I'm excited to see what new playlisting we get tomorrow and how it impacts streams. Obviously we'll get the boost of the inclusion in NMF playlists, but I really hope they bump it up high on TTH.

it's good that bey isn't everywhere all the time, so when she drops it's an event. if she did all the things we want from her, she wouldn't have this much hype when she releases something important. so i'm okay with her keeping things low.

 

i guess that she'll be busy most of this year (assuming that the Sphere thing is real) and she can rest a bit for a couple of months during the 2025, and release act iii on August 29 2025. it would fit perfectly. and then in 2026 actual world tour and then she can rest and maybe do some side projects, before returning for one last big-ish era and tour

It’s about to go down as soon as they see it at #1 on Country charts next week. Daddy Lessons started the conversation, but Old Town Road took it mainstream. With Old Town Road, they at least had a foot to stand on cause it had a hip hop edge with the bass, but Beyoncé is very clever. THM is filled with everything that classic country is made of with a slight pop and gospel edge to encompass many demographics. But because Country let all these new male artists filled with hip hop and R&B influences (*cough* Morgan Wallen) they’re going to have less of an argument to push back on now.

We love to see it. Australia supported BMS and Cuff it, I still hear the later regularly on radio.
