Her label situations are always so messy. We don't know what her deal with DTA was. Maybe it was for Love Sux only, if not maybe another Warner label can take over? When she signed with DTA, she said that another label made an offer to sign her, maybe she can go back to them? 

 

Her first five albums were with Sony labels.

The promotion of her first 3 eras was extremely good tho. But she was under a different manager back then. I forgot his name but he did great jobs for her. Then she changed to someone else and it became a mess.

LS would be so much bigger if she signs her deal with Warner. But Travis did pull strings that got her back in the rock community hence the successful touring, so nothing to blame here. I hope LS will get a viral hit in the near future.

I think she actually signed with Warner first and then Travis came to the table and she pushed back release of LS to retract the deal hence they releasing in Nov. originally, she can release Bite me in the summer. It was a mess.

Their methodology is accumulating the inverse points based on the position of her albums and singles on BB200 and Hot 100  

 

Anyway, her low ranking on the all-time list is mostly due to lack of single success. Plus USA isn't her main market during her prime. She is way bigger than some acts above her globally. Therefore, #47 in the span of 25 years is good enough for me. Many major acts couldn't make the list such as Evanescene, Lana Del Ray, Ciara, Paramore, Meghan Trainor, Nelly Furtado, One Republic, Shakira. Other major seller like Norah Jones only charted at #92. And you think #47 is bad?  

 

While #47 is not bad for Avril Lavigne whose singles didn't chart well on HOH. I actually think their methodology didn't reflect the popularity of artists of different eras 100% accurately. For example, there is no way artists like Miley Cyrus or Chris Brown are bigger than Justin Timberlake  . At least not on the earth. 

Her monthly listeners slowly going back to where they were before the Christmas freeze. 

 

She should release a single with Simple Plan to promote the tour. It might do nothing but at least stations will have a new song to play when they're giving out tickets or promoting the shows.

Can you stop whinning about everything. Katy Perry had way bigger peak than Avril in the US and she's still more relevant than Avril. That a very lame comparison.

Truth to be told, Avril can't even land an American idol job let alone the us being her weakest market. It also due to her being a Canadian. Things would be a lot different if she is a American.

Katy is still a bigger name than Avril in the US. She has bigger and more recent hits  

It's very likely that she recorded a song with Heidi Montag and that she'll be a guest at Avril's concert in NYC.
