In the US, it absolutely did. It went on to become a moderate hit, while everyone expected a smash, since it's a Katy lead

ย

Worldwide, and especially across Europe, it did very well.

We been knew.

ย

But 9 weeks in the top 30. Not all songs can say the same. Some aren't even predicted to debut there.

Yeah - nobody can say it "flopped" but it was a HUGE underperformance in the USย

Everyone knows it underperformed in the US. What's news?ย

ย

It was still a hit.ย

We were indeed pushed off the beaches of Dunkirk.

We knew this already but it's always fun when an official source confirms the tea.:gaycat4:

And this is news cause?ย :toofunny3:

ย

Of course it's an underperformance for her huge standards. Still a hit, especially in Europe.

The real definition of a quick little single... Flop in the US and oceania and moderate hit in Europe.ย

Edited by Mystic Boy

"Given her prior success" = "Underperformed for Katy's standards" = "Many artists would wish for a #4 peaking single with 450 million combined streams and 100M radio audience"ย

ย

Reading is crucial :)ย
