This isn't a ww hit, no matter how hard the kats want to push this narrative

I agree. It bombed in the USA and was a moderate underperformance worldwide.

The song is doing ok in Europe but is hugely underperforming in North America, Ocenania and Asia.

Why do Kats call this a "global smash" if it only did relatively ok in one continent?

I can't with ATRL's eurocentrism. Europe doesn't equal the world. Iwas a moderate hit in Europe, not a moderate hit "worldwide". More than half of the world population lives in Asia where the single is basically unknown. Y'all need to stop.

Billboard was right.

It is fair to be honest with ourselves in that it did underperform in the US.

I wouldn't call it a flop but it wasn't a smash either.

I can't see how this is a celebration for other fan bases when the song is basically falling pretty hard *in the US* since debut, against all the crazy Spotify promo and performances on major music events...yes it had a great start yet it's been losing momentum very quickly :biblio: especially as a lead single it's a very bad sign.

OT: let's just wish her good luck and I look forward to her real lead single to storm the charts.:gaycat4:

I mean it's not a smash but I don't think it flopped? Even the video is about to reach 200 million views and it's been what? 2 months since it's release? and like I said before compared to some pop girls lead single videos that were released last year that haven't even gone VEVO certified, then I don't think it's doing that bad. The video is doing fine and the song did its job globally. Put her name out there again  even though it won't be remembered in years :rip:

Hopefully the next single smashes if not then she'll have her first flop era which is likely to happen if Goddess is the next single. It's ok, I don't care if she flops. She'll flop moderately anyways :ahh:

If it is not urban music, a female single will suffer in current climate. The USA music has taken an ugly turn. We need our pop girls to stay strong and steer it away from this trend.

Hmm, funny. Her last hit was urban.

Maybe the pop girls should just deliver.

I hear this song every freaking day, so not true.

Hearing a song =/= it being successful. The Spotify/sales numbers don't lie!

Of course. Not every song is going to smash. Why are people so excited about her underperforming single?

She's doing fine. Better than any of the Joanne singles, so why do Gaga stans insist on trying it?

Because Katycats tried it in 2013 and continue to try it till this day

Well, considering her single has still performed better than any of Gaga's latest, it appears that they can keep trying it. :gaycat2:
