Why is it that Rihannas album ANTI, who is often portrayed as a singles artist by certain fanbases, is charting higher in its 250th week than the most recent album by an album artist Lady GaGa in its 23rd week?

ANTI is just better album, thats it

One is a respected musician known for her evergreen hits, beauty and talent. The other known for a meat dress from 10 years ago.

Anti is the better album that's resonated better with the masses and critics alike. It's a brilliant body of work pivotal to Rihanna's career and will be referenced for ages and the album is relatively very fresh despite having been released almost five years ago. Chromatica on the other hand was nothing new or brilliant for Gaga, it is the same overdone beats she's been doing for a while and it didn't even take the fresh aspects to the genre that albums like Dua, Doja and others have, it's understandable why it's dropping now that the effect of the Ariana collab is waning.

Because it just jumped 74 spots

This is just sad... 

 

Anti is the better album btw

anti has had phenomenal longevity. also, desperado blowing up on tik tok might be a factor for this major jump.

Anti really is a timeless album. I appreciate it more everytime I listen to it. Deserves all the success, if only Rih did it justice too.

ANTI is an actual body of work which resonated very well with general public, the other one is simply a horrible album.

Just realized... Chromatica spent only 24 weeks on BB200 so far while ANTI is in its 245h week? Chile

Rihanna has sold more albums WW than Gaga and she’s far ahead in SPS also. As a matter of fact, the only Female acts that have sold more albums than Rihanna this century are Britney Spears, Adele, Norah Jones, Taylor Swift and Pink.

Overall Rihanna's albums have charted better

Even Music of The Sun (her album with the least weeks on the chart) charted longer than Artpop and Cheek to Cheek.
