So unfiltered or not discounted streams is what a song has done in 24h but since every country is not “in sync” the streams get discounted??

Yeah for some odd reasons, it always happen in the debut week of really big songs, then the counter stabilizes during 2nd week so the discout numbers are not too far away from the counter one but they are still higher than what's showed on Top 200 charts.

Oh yeah that's why it's probably lower because HDD probably had the combined streams which is logical for Nielsen/BB as they combines all versions! So they actually did 9M streams on the WW chart!

Yes it was included and yes it counts for official charts

No one really knows if these filtered streams is because of timezones or spam streaming. Stop making up stuff. 

Does BB use counter or chart streams?

Why didnt they combine it with the Instrumental  Would be 9M then and probably 12-14M on the counter then, so HDD wasnt that far off.

Everyone's numbers get discounted daily. Spotify only count 10 streams per listener daily per song on their chart. 

 

This is why the unfiltered debut streams for artists with strong fanbases are huge because fans tend to do multiple repeated streams per day. (Taylor, gaga, ariana, bts). As the song aged the gap between the unfiltered/filtered numbers get less and less. 

 

This is purely for the chart reporting though and I'm sure the unfiltered numbers are still official. Imagine if spotify discount the streams and therefore the revenues to these labels, they would get sued.

10M+ is probably what the counter'll say but 7M on the official charts due to time zone constraints. I think its because the time zone Spotify follows for all of its artists is CEST (central european standard time, aka time in oslo, norway hq of spotify) so they abide by the 24hr time period there.
