Actually, I calculated this the other day using RS charts. She is estimated to do about 35k total w/o bundles. ~5k pure sales, ~30k TEA/SEA, and ~25k in bundles. W/o bundles she would place at about #7.

I've never said the album is stable only because of bundles, but I've been following charts for a while and right now I believe bundles are playing a part in its stability.

It is common knowledge among chartsters if you are one that BUILDING CHART doesnt equate to ratio and proportion.. although you're right about RS adding bundles last minute i think.. but still webeenknew that it's not ratio and proportion in PURE SALES at least

That implies the people who got the album with bundles wouldn't have gotten it any other way, which is not the case

Those ~25k bundles definitely wouldn't translate to literally 0 pure sales

The unbiased truth, as someone already pointed out, is that even if bundles are helping a lot, there's no way to know what the album's "true" sales would be without them because trying to just remove them entirely isn't accurate either since those who bought the album via a bundle very well could have done so without the bundle. It's like how you guys defend Lemonade's pure sales when people argue they would be lower without the Tidal exclusive deal/with the album being available on all streaming platforms – it's all "what ifs" and to parade those around as if they're receipts is foolish. Yes you can definitely argue Chromatica's pure sales would be lower without the bundles (just as one can argue Lemonade's would be lower if it was available more widely), but not to the extent of trying to find the sales minus bundles and presenting that as the "real" sales. Now THAT is sad.

Bundles helped. You can't deny it.

- Albums with bundles, dropped more the week later.

- Chromatica droped 80-90% in pure sales last week and increases this week.

Without bundle, the album SPS wouldn't be -0% and you know that.
