in this week's issue they did a story on today's most popular songwriters. they included Frank Dukes and Louis Bell, who worked on Congratulations and Rockstar, respectively.

 

in Louis Bell's feature, they revealed that Rockstar has 1.79 billion streams. and we all know 0.07mil units isn't impossible for 'Rockstar' given its monster longevity (as well as the fact it manages to rebound on streaming every time he drops a new song lol)

in Frank Duke's feature, they revealed that Congratulations has 1.58bil streams.

 

 

in Victoria Monet's feature, they revealed that Thank U Next (song) has 855.6mil streams.

 

 

they also revealed that 7R and TUN share 1.53bil on-demand streams between each other. 1.53bil - 855.6mil = 674.4mil streams, meaning 7R has 674.4mil streams.

 

 

and finally, they also did a story on Starrah. they revealed that Havana has 1.27bil streams.

that's for albums. songs are 150 streams = 1 unit

Nielsen's numbers include un-official video streams, (such as if I upload a YouTube video using an audio of a song) which do not count for RIAA certs. Only official videos on artist/label's channels count towards certs as video streams. 

 

Havana for example was 7x Platinum in December, so it can't be 10x Platinum now. 

 

I'd estimate it around:

450 million US audio streams

450 million US video streams [only including her channel]

1.7 million US sales

= 7.7 million RIAA units.

 

Which would go in hand with it being certified 7x Platinum just six months ago.

Oh wow Camila a Grammy-nominated diamond singer-songwriter!!! She sold more than a million copies of Havana via iTunes so she's probably almost there! Hopefully this year!

Basically 150 streams = 1 song sale and 1500 streams = 1 album sale / 10 song sales = 1 album sale

 

So just divide single units by 10 and add it to album units

I just saw that on the RIAA page:

That's probably the reason why Nasmaraj's Old town road was only certified 3x Platinum last month even when it was already eligible for 5x or 6x Platinum using Nielsen numbers. Because a big part of OTR's streams are User Generated Videos.

Does billboard can’t those for points on H100? Tik Toks impact
